first ruler of this dynasty was Khizr Khan, who hailed from Multan. He conquered Delhi in 1414. He did not adopt any royal title due to the fear of Amir Timur's invasion.

Alam Shah was the fourth ruler of the Sayyid family, who was the most cowardly and timid person, and was very weak in terms of administration.
